Vijender lost his match and has to content with a Bronze medal. Not bad, this has been India's first Olympic medal in boxing so something to cheer about.

This is the day every Indian has been waiting anxiously for last 2 days, it's Vijender's semi-final match. Vijender, go and win another match for your country..best of luck..fingers crossed.

Some more good news coming to India..boxer Vijender enters semi-finals in 75 kg category. At least another bronze is ensured now but we want Gold Vijender. Go and give your best performance in coming days. Best of luck and God bless you.
Vijender gets into semi-final

Sushil Kumar wins Bronze medal in 66 kg freestyle wrestling for India. This means India has won 2 individual medals in an Olympic for the first time. Wow, great going guys....but wait a minute who is Sushil Kumar !!!! and I am sure most of us won't be aware of who is he. This came as a nice surprise to me and probably for most of the Indians. We are so proud of Sushil's achievement.

19/Aug:
Akhil Kumar & Jitender Kumar lose their quarter final matches and crashed out of the Olympic. Sad day for India but we still have some hopes from Vijender. Best of luck champ.

Eight Gold medals in 1 Olympic..can you believe this !!

3 Indian boxers in quarter finals..maja aa gaya !! Great going guys, pls. win few more Gold medals for India.

Abhinav Bindra won Gold Medal for India in 10 metres air rifle event..wow !! India's first individual Olympic gold medal. We still have a long way to go..

10/Aug:
At last some good news for India, Anup Sridhar (Read here..) and Saina Nehwal (Read here..) enter last 16 of badminton competition at Olympics. This must have brought some relief to Indian camp after most of our high-profile shooters and archers are literally out of the Olympics.

Save fuel..save earth !!!!!!!!

Switching off your car/bike engines while waiting at a signal for more than 14 seconds can save a lot of money, evenually a lot of fuel on earth. That's what I read in Times of India today. Believe me, I have been doing this for many years but never expected that it's going to save to much of fuel on earth if all of us follow us.
