In support of Raj Thackeray (funny)

We all should support Raj Thackeray and take his initiative ahead by doing more, for example following. Mr. Thackery please take this in good humour ;-)

1. We should teach our kids that if he is second in class, don't study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school.
2. Parliament should have only Delhiites as it is located in Delhi.
3. Prime-minister, president and all other leaders should only be from Delhi.
4. No Hindi movie should be made in Bombay. Only Marathi.
5. At every state border, buses, trains, flights should be stopped and staff changed to local men.
6. All Maharashtrians working abroad or in other states should be sent back as they are SNATCHING employment from Locals.
7. Lord Shiv, Ganesha and Parvati should not be worshiped in our state as they belong to north (Himalayas).
8. Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only.
9. Relief for farmers in Maharashtra should not come from centre because that is the money collected as Tax from whole of India, so why should it be given to someone in Maharashtra?
10. 10. Let's support Kashmiri Militants because they are right in killing and injuring innocent people for the benefit of their state and community.
11. Let's throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra, why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis of the world.
12. Let's stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign Movies and dramas. James Bond should speak Marathi.
13. We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states.
14. We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside.
15. We should STOP using local trains... Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and Railway Minister is a Bihari.
16. Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra, then they will become true Marathi.

JAI MAHARASHTRA!

Nano travels to Gujarat

Finally !! Tata's are going to produce Nano at Sanand in Gujarat. After so many months of political fallouts, agitations & discussions Ratan Tata choose Gujarat to move his pet Nano project, cheapest car in the world. This will further boost Gujarat's image to attract more corporates to set up their shops, indeed a nice & quick move from Narendra Modi and his team to arrange allocation of about 11,000 acres of land for Tata Nano plant. This brings in a lot of vendors alongwith Tata's, and should  generate significant number of job opportunities for local population. Entire Gujarat (specially Sanand) burst into celebration after Ratan Tata & Narendra Modi held a joint press conference to declare this partnership.

Looking back at the Tata's Singur experience, they not only suffered financial losses but also lost trust in West Bengal's government & politicians. And this has blotted West Bengal's image very badly in corporate world, so the state which is already in bad shape (thanks to CPM's rule for so many years) should stop thinking about any progress being made in coming years. All credit goes to Mamata di, she has put in a lot of efforts and ensured that Tata's move out of the state. This again proves that politicians can stoop to any levels, to gain political mileage. God have some mercy.

"CHROME" not just another browser..

Google launched a new browser in the market called "Chrome" recently without too much hype & fanfare. They are pushing it slowly via their various products (Orkut, blogspot..) to the end users. Nice strategy !! I started using Chrome around 10 days back and can swear that it's good & cool, no less than other browsers in the market when compared for mostly used features. On launching Chrome, the home page which displays thumbnails of most visited websites is a great new feature and I am finding it very useful from usability perspective. Chrome loads webpages faster than IE 7, so I  prefer using Chrome. Less buttons, no menu bars..so more space for the realestate on the web pages. From my perspective, I see Chrome's market growing rapidly in coming months specially when it's free to download and use. Hats off to Google, another great product from their factory.

This post is publishig using Chrome :-)

Can Indian market survive the US effect ?

With a number of banks/financial institutions in United States declaring bankruptcy, looking for buyers; money of investors have gone down the drain. Experts are saying there won't be any respite from the situations very soon so all are advised to be cautious with their investment. The current situation in US has also affected a lot of business IT companies used to get. There has been indications of getting less business as compared to past which means less revenue and that would ultimately lead to putting into effect certain cost cutting measures. There are talks in the industry & media to expect around 25,000 jobs getting affected..now that's a big number.

Talking about Indian IT market, people are really worried about US scenario and almost everyone is religiously following what's happenning in US ecenomy. Most of the business Indian IT giants generate is from US markets, and if economy at US is showing signs of decline that's going to impact revenues here also without any second thought. So, people in IT sector who have been enjoying an extended honeymoon period for past few years should get ready to face the heat. I am just hoping that Indian economy survives the US effect because our Government might not be able to pump in big money to boost economy as Bush Government is trying to do now.

Why Bhajji slapped Sree ?

All of us who have been desperately waiting to get a glimpse of what exactly happenned between Sreesanth & Harbhajan in IPL match, where led to Harbhajan slapping Sreesanth..here is some good news. Video of that incident is finally out and available for everyone to have a look and enjoy.....

Damn blasts again

India has been rocked again by blasts, this time at Jaipur. As reported by various news channels and websites, 7 blasts triggerred in the span of 12 minutes. 60 people have been reported to be dead and more than 200 dead. The way everything worked, looks like to be master minded by some of the professional militant group. See more details here.

Massive Earthquake hits China

A massive earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Ritcher scale hit China on Monday. This is said to be one of the strongest earthquakes in decades that struck the country. More than 8,500 people have been reported to be killed, numbers are said to be more that 10,000. Big tragedy for China. Click here for more details.

Santh Harbhajan

Harbhajan & Sree Santh can not stay far from controversies. Latest, Harbhajan slapping Sreesanth just like that. Poor Sreesanth (is he really) was seen crying on camera for so long. Now, Harbhajan has been banned from playing rest of his IPL matches. A big loss indeed, not to the cricket but to Harbhajan :-) , in terms of money. No worries, probably this is the right time for him to walk the ramp, shoot for the advertisements of products he endorses and if time permits take some rest as well. While Bhajji is busy with all this, Sreesanth can focus a bit more on cricket and I hope he is not missing all the action without Bhajji. After all, both these guys have been the backbone of Indian cricket's sledging think tank.

No posts..so long

Hi There..have not posted anything for soooooooooooooo long..never thought that it would be so difficult to think, write & post something here. So posting just for the sake of it ;-)

Enjoyyyyy and have fun..

Great match, Great feeling..and the cup is ours

What a great contest it was and Indian cricket team emerged as heroes. Two straight Indian wins ensured that there is no need for the 3rd match, as predicted by Ponting ;-) . Only difference is, it's Australia losing to great Indian combination.

This team has displayed guts to beat a world champion team, which actually is no more in a state to be called champions. Dhoni has again led a young Indian cricket team to win a series outside India, after T20 world cup, kudos to him. For sure, his eyes are now at the next World Cup which every Indian also want this team to bring back after soooo long..Amen !
