Our Son is 1 year old now :-)

Out Son "Puru" is 1 year old now. Last 1 year have been a roller coaster ride for us, prioritizing professional & personal commitments. But trust me, it has been fun. It's such a great experience to see your baby growing, picking up new activities every day..sometimes you feel as if you are seeing yourself (at least that's what have been my feelings).

Where are rains ??

Rain- Rain..where are you ? That's what everyone in Northern parts of India have been thinking of for past 15 days, and praying to rain gods for some rain. Heat wave has been severe and long this summer in northern India, without any respite.

Electricity consumption has gone through the roof, which has led to frequent & long power cuts. Everyone is frustrated and just hoping that rain brings in some relief soon.

Amen !

T20 - Dreams shatterred

India lost the crucial match with England yesterday crashed out of T20 world cup. Bad news of Indian fans..better luck next time :-(

Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same with life, where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.

One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life is not to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to get so worked up? It's ok, bunk a few classes, goof up a few interviews, fall in love. We are people, not programmed devices.

"Don't be serious, be sincere."
